Music, dance art, painting, poetry, philosophy, religions spread along the Silk Road. At the end of the 14th century, the religious shrine for all Turkic-speaking peoples - Hodji Ahmed Yasavi - was built in the city of Turkestan. More than 100 nationalities live in the country, each contributing to the color of the population, their traditions and unforgettable culinary diversity. Here you can try unique specialties such as Beshbarmak - a national dish of Kazakhstan made of mutton and vegetables, horse sausage, the local hard cheese - Kurb, fried patties - Baursak and various types of pilaf, burek and baklava.
